The first flowers of Spring have peeked their heads through the ground here. On the trees I can see millions of tiny buds forming. The grasses have gone from a dull yellow to a thousand shades of green. Soon the Dogwood and Cherry trees will be blessing us with their glorious white and pink blossoms. Soon the Rhododendron bushes will be covered with fantastic purple flowers. Soon the fields will become a beautiful, shining sea of golden Dandelions. Soon the mountains themselves will come to life with a joy and a wonder that is beyond description. |

I love the beginning of Spring. It is so full of promise and fresh beginnings. It makes you fall in love with life all over again. It shows you how vital and wonderful being alive can be. It helps you to see that life is meant for loving, caring, and rejoicing. It brings a joy and a delight to your heart and soul that can overcome any pain or loss. |

Spring is a reminder as well. It is a reminder that no matter how long we have been asleep, we can come awake to life again. It is a reminder that no matter how long we have just existed, we can become vital, alive, and full of love once more. It is a reminder that no matter how long we have been dead inside, we can still renew ourselves in life and in joy. Embrace the Spring within you then. Welcome it into your heart, mind, and soul. Come alive again with love and joy. |

God wants everyone of our days to be the first day of Spring. God wants everyone of us to rejoice in the life within us and in the life all around us. God wants all of us to share the glorious love, joy, and life that is Spring. Don't spend your days in the dead of Winter when you can choose instead the wonderful life of Spring. Don't spend your days just existing when you can instead spend them living and loving. | ||
