My boys are early risers. They are almost always up before the dawn. A blessing of this is that I often get to watch the most beautiful sunrises imaginable. Today was an especially glorious one. The pinks, reds, and purples blended into such a wonderful sight that I felt joyful, peaceful, and happy just to look upon it. |

|
I knew then that God must truly love us to give us such a perfect beginning to a day. I love watching the sun come up in the morning. It gives me a break from the morning routine of baths, breakfasts, and exercise. It helps me to reconnect to God in a special way. It reminds me of what is important in life so I don't get lost in the details. |

I always try to share the sunrise with my children. I want them to learn to look at the beauty of life. I want them to appreciate the gifts that this world brings. I want them to be able to take joy in all that God gives them. We live in a world full of beauty. The gifts of God always surround us. There is limitless joy, love, peace, and happiness around us and within us just waiting for us to see it and choose it. |

| Don't forget then to watch the
sunrise or the sunset. Don't forget to take in the beauty of this life
and share it with others. Remember life is flowers, trees, rainbows, and
waterfalls. Life is children's hugs, a kiss from a loved one, and a touch
of a friend. Life is kind words and actions.
Life is loving, caring, and helping. Life is sunrises, sunsets, and all the glory in between. Life is a walk in the woods on a sunny day or on the beach on a starry night. Life is all these things and more. Life is beauty and life is joy. |
