A Drop Of Water. |
Our world is like a river, with most of us stagnating while we are clinging to the river bank. We must let go of the river bank, and allow the current to carry us along, sometimes slowly and sometimes fast. We cannot see or imagine the ocean when we are clinging to the river bank so far inland, but this does not mean that the ocean does not exist. While we are clinging to the river bank, we will have difficulty believing that the ocean does exist, but the ocean does exist nevertheless. We will never be able to experience the ocean, unless we let go of the bank, and stop clinging to the false security of the river bank which is only causing us to stagnate. It is easier for us to be carried along by the current, than it is for us to swim against the current. It is easy to hold on to the river bank again. We will often grasp the river bank without realising that we have grasped the river bank. As soon as we do realise that we are clinging to the river bank, we must let go, and continue flowing until we reach the ocean. It is easier for debris to attach itself to us, when we are clinging to the river bank, than it is when we are flowing with the river. |
Our life is like a river. Sometimes our life meanders along placidly, and other times our life rages over the rapids. When our river of life is travelling over rapids, we are pushed and pulled first one way and then another. We must endure this confusion, until the river has passed over the rapids, and our life becomes calm again. The only way that we can experience what the river has to offer, and the only way that we can see the beauty along the river's journey is to flow with the river. The only way that the river can carry us to our Journey's End and to the wonderful and unimaginable power and beauty of the ocean is if we flow with the river. Even when we flow with the river, we have to accept that the river will not always flow in the direction in which we want the river to flow. |
Eventually, like a drop of clinging water, we will be evaporated and returned again with the rain. We will usually be deposited inland to again find our way back to the river and receive another opportunity to cling or to flow. This happens over and over again. Only by flowing can we become part of the power and the beauty of the ocean, there is no other way. When our souls evaporate, it is only our spirit that evaporates. Just like the drop of water that vaporises, the dirt is left behind. All that the adjoining drops of water know, is that the drop of water which has evaporated is no longer there. If the drops of water were told that the drop of water was now in a different form, and was now existing as part of a cloud, resting before being placed amongst the drops of water again as another, and yet the same drop of water, the drops of water would not be able to understand what had occurred. The lack of understanding of the adjoining drops of water would not make what had occurred to the drop of water any less real. A number of drops of water are evaporated from one place, and carried by the cloud, which is driven by the wind, before depositing those same drops, still around each other, collectively in another place. Those same drops of water, are continually being evaporated and deposited as a group. The drops of water are unaware that the drops of water have been together, and have existed in other places and at other times, but still as a group. The fact that the drops of water have forgotten their previous times together, as part of the same river, lake or pond, does not mean that the drops of water have not been together many times. |
Every physical existence of every drop of water is not the same. Sometimes the drops of water are in a river, and have an opportunity to let go of the bank and find the ocean, but other times the drops of water may be deposited in a lake, a pond or even a puddle. The drops of water may even spend time in the ocean, enjoying the majestic existence for a while, before being evaporated and deposited again in another environment. Sometimes, the drops of water are evaporated shortly after they are deposited, and sometimes the drops of water travel a significant distance, through easy or difficult paths before the drops of water are evaporated. When a drop of water is deposited on the land, there are a number of courses which the drop of water can take, leading to different places, or the same place, Each drop may take a different amount of time to reach their destination. Some drops of water will be deposited at the top of a tree and believe that they are fortunate, living high above the other drops of water, but to reach the ocean, the drops of water must first fall to the ground. The drops of water are not really fortunate to live high in the tree, and that the drops of water think that they are fortunate is only an illusion. |
Imagine our body as a bucket, and our soul as the water inside the bucket. If a handful of dirt is thrown into the water, the water becomes murky just as our soul becomes murky. If the dirt is left to settle at the bottom of the bucket, the water appears clean on the surface, but the slightest disturbance will stir up the dirt sitting quietly below the surface. The water will again become murky. How murky the water becomes will depend on how great the disturbance. The only way for the water to truly become clean again is to remove the dirt. Initially this is a painstaking but relatively easy task. Even after we have removed most of the dirt, the water is not truly clean, until we have patiently sifted out all of the remaining particles of dirt. Before the water is truly clean, we even have to remove the smallest particles of dirt, which are difficult to see. Regardless of whether the water is clean or dirty, if we remove the bucket, the water still exists, but the water is no longer in the bucket. |
A drop of water may be partially evaporated during the day, only to be returned overnight through condensation. The drop of water is unaware that anything happened, let alone what has happened. Nevertheless, the drop of water was partially evaporated during the day, and returned overnight. It is the same when our soul visits the spirit plane while our conscious mind sleeps. Sometimes when the drops of water are deposited, one or more the drops of water of land in a puddle, while the other the drops of water land in a nearby river. After existing in the puddle for a while, one drop of water is evaporated, and redeposited in the river, near the same group of drops of water that the drop of water has been with since the beginning. Another drop of water does not get evaporated, but finds its way to the river, along the ground. Both drops of water existed in the puddle, and both drops of water exist in the river. One drop of water is the same drop of water from the puddle, one drop of water is a different drop of water from the puddle, and yet they were both drops of water in the puddle, and now they are both drops of water in the river. After rejoining the other drops of water of their group in the river, the group is again evaporated and deposited together. In that time span, some drops of water have existed twice, and other drops of water have only existed once. |
When the group is deposited as rain, the drops of water are pure, and their connection to each other is pure, because the drops of water had left the dirt behind when the drops of water were evaporated. However, after being deposited, dirt and other debris soon attach themselves to the drops of water, and the connection between the drops of water is no longer pure. Sometimes, when deposited in different places the drops of water travel separately, before their paths converge and the drops of water travel together for a time, until their joint path reaches a fork, and the drops of water drift apart down different paths which may or may not converge with another path and another one of the drops, for a part or for the rest of their journey. After being on separate paths again for a while, the drops of water may find that their paths again converge, and again the drops of water travel together. Two drops of water fall from the sky, one drop of water lands in a meadow, where the sun will evaporate the drop of water before too long. The other drop of water lands deep in the rainforest, where the sun can not reach the drop of water and evaporate the drop of water easily. The drop of water in the rainforest feels secure away from the sun, the drop of water knows that the drop of water will have a long and peaceful existence. The drop of water is blissfully unaware that by letting the sunlight shine through the drop of water, the drop of water can be the beginning of a rainbow, and the drop of water in the rainforest will never know what it feels like to create a rainbow. |
Each drop of water leaves their spiritual existence as part of a cloud, some drops of water have been in spirit form for a long time, and some drops of water have been in spirit form for only a short time. The drops of water return to earth, and each drop of water fulfils a different purpose, some drops of water become drinking water, some drops of water are used to irrigate crops, some drops of water are needed to bathe in, some drops of water fill rivers and lakes and support the life that exists there. A few drops of water form part of a natural health spring and a very few drops of water become holy water. As the drops of water fulfil their purpose, the drops of water evaporate and in time, again return to earth to fulfil a purpose, sometimes the drops of water fulfil the same purpose, and sometimes the drops of water fulfil a different purpose. If a drop of water, flowing along with the river is attached to dirt, or other debris, the drop of water's journey is slower. It is the junk, attached to the drop of water, which snags on the bank, or other obstacles, or even junk attached to other drops of water. Every time the drop of water is snagged, the drop of water's progress is impeded. The only way to flow unimpeded, is for the drop of water to free itself of the junk which has attached itself to the drop of water. |
When the drop of water, first lets go of the bank, the drop of water has no concept of how far it is to the ocean, and no concept of how the long the journey will take. Each time that the drop of water approaches a bend in the river, the drop of water is sure that the ocean must be around the bend. When the ocean is not around the bend, the drop of water becomes disappointed. If the drop of water had known how long, and how difficult the drop of water's journey would be at times, the drop of water would never had left the safety of the river bank. The drop of water considers clinging to the river bank again from time to time, but the drop of water does not cling to the river bank again, because there are two things which the drop of water knows for sure. The drop of water knows that the river will reach the ocean eventually, and the drop of water knows that the drop of water will never reach the ocean if the drop of water clings to the river bank. The drop of water also knows that there is less chance of any dirt or debris becoming attached to the drop of water while the drop of water is flowing with the river. |
It is easy for the drop of water to hold on to the river bank again, often without the drop of water realising that the drop of water is clinging to the river bank, but when the drop of water does realise that the drop of water is clinging to the river bank, the drop of water must let go again. Even when the drop of water flows with the river, the drop of water has to accept that the river will not always flow in the direction which the drop of water wants the river to flow. A drop of water which is pure falls from the sky. When the drop of water lands the drop of water commences its journey, and on the way the drop of water gathers all sorts of dirt and dust to the drop of water. Finally the drop of water reaches some rocks. During the drop of water's journey the drop of water has collected more dirt and also dropped off some dirt on the way. The dirt and dust and things which cling to the drop of water have made the drop of water more than the drop of water truly is. As the drop of water traverses the rocks, the dirt and dust are knocked off and left behind so the drop of water becomes less again. The drop of water returns to the drop of water's pure form that the drop of water was when the drop of water fell from the sky. Once the drop of water has passed over the rocks, the drop of water arrives at the ocean and joins the ocean thus becoming more than the drop of water once was. |
The drop of water drifts along the river until the drop of water suddenly encounters rapids. When the river of life is in transition the drop of water needs to travel over some rapids to knock the accumulated junk from a lifetime or more off of the drop of water, before the drop of water enter the calm waters to continue its journey. The rapids are very powerful and continually force the river, which is carrying the drop of water, back onto itself and the river is going in many directions at one time. Whilst the drop of water travels the rapids, the drop of water is pulled first in one direction and then the other. Sometimes the drop of water is close to exiting on the other side, but the drop of water is drawn back into the turmoil of the rapids, or even back beyond the rapids. There is nothing that the drop of water can do to fight the rapids and attempting to fight the rapids ensures that the drop of water will remain in the rapids longer. The drop of water needs to flow with the rapids, and the drop of water will eventually be pushed out of the other side into the calm. The drop of water will find itself travelling in circles if the drop of water attempts to fight the rapids. Flowing with the rapids is not easy for the drop of water, and at times flowing with the rapids is painful, but fighting the rapids would be more painful and the drop of water’s time within the rapids would be prolonged. The drop of water was nears the end of the rapids. The drop of water winds its way through and over the larger stones that cause the rapids to slow down and become calm as the drop of water moves to peace and serenity of the river before the drop of water slowly made its way to the ocean. Consider a soiled piece of clothing. The surface dirt comes away easily, but the clothing must be hammered vigorously on the rocks to remove the in-ground dirt. The rapids have knocked the last of the accumulated dust and dirt off the drop of water. Downstream is much deeper and very peaceful. After passing through rapids, the drop of water drifts slowly and peacefully down to the mouth of the river, and then enters the ocean. The drop of water had finally reached the ocean. As the drop of water ventures out into the ocean, the swell pushes the drop of water back towards to river's mouth. The flow from the river prevents the drop of water from re-entering the river. The drop of water must be patient, because the current will eventually carry the drop of water passed the swell, and far into the ocean. |
The drop of water finally reached the ocean only to be deposited back on the rocks by the waves to have the last of the clinging debris removed. Instead of being returned to the ocean as the drop of water had expected, the drop of water was deposited into a lagoon. The drop of water drifted in that lagoon which was neither the river or the ocean for a long time, before the drop of water drifted into the channel which led from the lagoon to the ocean. Having slowly drifted along that channel the drop of water had nearly reached the entrance to the ocean, but the channel had silted up and there was only one way through to the ocean. To enter the ocean, the drop of water needs to move past the silt which had created a sand bar, and an effective barrier to the ocean. The drop of water finally trickled through the sand bar, and once more the drop of water reached the point where the river and ocean met, unable to move forward due to the swell and unable to return to the river. The drop of water crossed the invisible barrier where the river became the ocean, the drop of water was still the drop of water, but the drop of water was also a part of the ocean. The drop of water, was no longer an individual drop of water. |
All of the drops of water can form a part of the ocean, if the drops of water find their way to the ocean. All remain individual drops of water, the same as the next drop of water, but different to the next drop of water. Each drop of water is individual. All of the drops of water originated from the ocean. The drops of water were evaporated and then become rain. Subsequently the drops of water existed as puddles, lakes and rivers etc before making their way back to the ocean. |
The universe is a vast ocean of consciousness, and we are the drops which together make the ocean. As the drop of water is still a drop of water when the drop of water is part of the ocean, and the drop of water is also part of the ocean, so too are souls who become part of the higher plane, and therefore part of God. Just as the drop of water is part of the ocean, and the ocean is the drop of water, so it is with God and with all. Whether it is a raindrop, a cloud, or part of a river, the substance of the drop of water is the same, it is the wetness. Regardless of the shape or form, the wetness of the drop of water's substance remains the same. So it is with God. God is like the wetness that is in each drop of water always. The wetness is the very substance of the drop of water, and whatever the drop of water becomes. So it is with God. God is the very substance of all, regardless of what form, physical or spiritual is currently adopted. God is the ocean and without each drop of water, the ocean would not exist. What is an individual drop of water, collectively becomes the ocean. The drop of water and the ocean are different, but also the same. |
Does not a single drop of water increase the volume of the ocean? So too does a single soul which finds pure love, increase the ocean of pure love. We and God are the same entity, but we are also different entities. It is the same relationship as that of the single drop of water and the ocean. God created 'Adam' and 'Eve' as a means of expanding God's existence and this is the motive for all life. We expand the existence of God, as we become a part of God, like the drop of water expands the ocean. God is together with all souls. Souls form each drop that is the ocean, and God is the ocean which souls form. Our higher self is the link which we have with all souls and with God. Our higher self is also God. Like a drop of water in the ocean. Some souls are linked to our soul directly. They are in turn linked to other souls and so on until all souls are eventually linked to form the ocean. It is the souls which are the drops connected to our drop in the ocean which are our bonded souls. After experience has been gained and a soul again becomes one with all that is, there is no need to incarnate in physical form again. Although souls who have achieved this oneness with all that is can incarnate at will to assist another to gain experience. A drop of water can be evaporated from the ocean and deposited inland if necessary. |
Is not each drop of water which makes up the ocean still the ocean? Just as each drop of the ocean is still the ocean, collectively they are the ocean. So it is with God. All and one. The fourth level of existence is the collective ocean. Imagine for just one moment if souls became God and were unaware of pure love. Imagine a God with the power to create and destroy being consumed by fears and insecurities? Frightening, isn't it? That is what all souls attached to the physical planes are. That is why it is necessary that we are not aware that we are God. A drop of God that is the ocean of God. Each drop of the ocean is still part of the ocean. God is, God the drop that is each of us. God is, God the drop that is another. God is, God the drops which collectively make up the ocean. Each soul who returns to the higher plane adds another drop to the ocean and increases the pure love. Every drop in the ocean is important. Those who live in the ocean of pure love, the very fabric of existence, have an insatiable desire for more pure love, but this desire is pure. |
We are all are drops within the ocean. One God that is all, and we all exist within one God. We are all are part of one God, and one God is part of all. The God within is God, God the drop which forms a part of God the ocean. God the ocean, effectively assists God the single drop. The difference between an external factor and luck is that an external factor involves another soul or souls. God the drop. Luck involves the fabric of existence. God the ocean. God grows through creation of worlds or environments and through the seeding of these environments with drops. As the drops experience and grow the drops expand, creating more drops. As the drops gain sufficient experience to know that the drops are a part of the ocean, the very fabric of existence, the drops become a part of the ocean and God grows. All things which exist within the universe are a part of the universe, and all things exist within the universe. The universe is the vast ocean of existence, and we are all drops within that ocean. A part of the ocean, but individual drops at the same time. |
The mass of the ocean increases slightly with each drop as the universe continues to expand. It is only after we have completed all of our chosen experiences that we can fully become a part of the ocean, and add our experiences to the fabric of existence, and to the awareness of the universe. What prevents this occurring prior to completing awareness is that which is attached to the soul. Each soul in physical incarnation is effectively God which is who we are, plus whatever has accumulated which is who we are not. Only who we are can become who we are, so we must experience that who we are not, is in fact who we are not, before we can become who we are. All that we have experienced and all that we will experience is who we are not, until we are left to experience who we are. We are God as the drops, and we are also the ocean. Our real difficulty is not with the fact of God, the difficulty which we need to overcome is the perception of God. We need to understand that for us to truly accept the reality that we are God, we first need to accept that the reality of God is far removed from our perception of God. All are God, the ocean and the drops. |
God does provide regardless of whether we are referring to God the drop or God the ocean. God the ocean and God the drop are in effect a part of each other and it is pointless to attempt to differentiate where the drop finishes and the ocean beings. The drop and the ocean are the same. It is only through working for the benefit of self which we are able to work for the benefit of all. The sum of all is one, because all are one, all are God. The one is God the ocean, one ocean. Each of us is God the drop. All we can do is work for the benefit of the individual drop. If each individual drop worked for their individual drop, then each drop would benefit, and as a result of each drop benefiting the ocean, then all or the one would also benefit. God is the ocean of existence. We exist, and therefore we are a part of and we are part of the ocean. We are individual drops within the ocean that is God. We are not God in the context of an all powerful individual deity, but all that is, is connected and God is a part of us all, and we are a part of God. |
We are all like a drop of rain, making our way to the ocean of existence. When the drop reaches the ocean, the drop becomes a part of the ocean, but the drop continues to exist. The ocean is a collection of individual drops. We are each of us a drop of the ocean which is God. We come from the ocean, and we experience the drop, and then we return to the ocean. We are always an individual drop which is a part of the ocean. When we talk about levels of consciousness, we perceive a linear existence, because our physical existence is linear. We are created as a drop with knowledge of the ocean, and we experience all things so that we become aware of the ocean, and who we are. |
The belief that we are not good enough is a lie in itself, perpetuated by many of our religions, by government, by education, and by the media. The truth is that we are good enough, we are souls gaining experience, and we are all a part of God. We are all drops within the universal ocean which is God. The lie that we are not good enough often causes us to attempt to justify ourselves to be good enough to be accepted within the artificial standards of the earth plane, standards which are in themselves lies perpetuated by the fear based existence. The truth is that we are not only good enough for artificial earth plane standards and the related judgement, but we are beyond the artificial temporary existence of the earth plane. We are a part of all that is, a part of God. Our existence is infinite, because we are part of God and God is infinite. |
