Analogies of Reality
Someone could climb the mountain of awareness, stand at the top of the mountain of awareness, and say; 'look it is possible to climb the mountain of awareness, I have climbed the mountain of awareness. It is beautiful up here, you can see where you have been and where you are going. Take my word that the journey is worth it, and climb the mountain of awareness.' However, those of us at the bottom of the mountain of awareness would not understand the route up the mountain of awareness, and few of us would even attempt to climb the mountain of awareness. We need an example to show the path at least in principle, because we must all follow our own individual route.
A master will not reappear standing the top of the mountain of awareness and say; 'it is beautiful here, why don't you all come up?' Those of us standing at the bottom of the mountain of awareness may, or may not accept that it is beautiful at the top of the mountain of awareness, but few of us, if any, would believe that walking up the mountain of awareness would be possible. 'It is too hard' we would say, because the path is not always clear.
The only way for a master to show us the way to the top of the mountain of awareness, is to start at the bottom of the mountain of awareness, and take each step with all of the wrong turns and all of the dead ends.
Some of us will reach the top of the mountain of awareness, and shout down to those of us at the foot the mountain of awareness; 'Come up here and you will see this and that'. Even if 'this and that' sound wondrous to those of us at the foot of the mountain of awareness, we think; 'I would like to be at the top of the mountain of awareness, but I do not know how to get to the top of the mountain of awareness.' Some of us may say; 'It is easy for you to say that, because you are at the top of the mountain of awareness, but how do we know you are telling the truth?'
It is good for others to reach the top of the mountain of awareness, so that we all know that it is possible to reach the top of the mountain of awareness. However, we must take each step, for ourselves.
Step by step is how we will climb the mountain of awareness, and step by step is how we will reach the summit of the mountain of awareness.
That we put one foot here, and the next foot there, or we watch out for that rock or this outcrop is not important. What is important, is that we continue to put one foot in front of the other, if we fall we must get up, if we take a wrong turn we must find our way back to the correct path. We will reach the summit of the mountain of awareness through patient persistence.
On our way up the mountain of awareness, we will encounter a hidden bridge. We each follow a different individual path, and each have a different bridge. However, we will all encounter a hidden bridge, which we must first identify and then cross.
The spirit plane, the middle plane, the subconscious, whatever it may be labelled, is the bridge between the physical existence or our lower self, and the true existence or our higher self. The spirit plane is the plane between the other two planes, and the spirit plane is the bridge that we will discover as we climb the mountain of awareness.
We must not underestimate the difficulty of the mountain of awareness that we must climb. Mountain climbing is hard work. It does not matter how good a climber we are, the only way that we will reach the top of the mountain of awareness, is to do the hard work. We cannot float to the top of the mountain of awareness on a cloud.
We may follow a hard road, but we must not give up if we cannot find the path to the summit of the mountain of awareness, easily. We must travel the difficult paths, as well as the easy paths. Most importantly, we must not despair, and we must be patient.
There are many dead ends and false leads on our path up the mountain of awareness. There are times when we must retrace our steps to find the correct path which we will continue to stray from, seemingly at every opportunity.
We all make mistakes. Sometimes our mistakes are extreme. Sometimes we make mistakes through desperation. It does not matter how severe our mistake is. All that matters is that we learn from our mistake, and we become a better person. All that matters is that we bounce back from our mistake, and we continue to climb our mountain of awareness.
There are many chasms on the path which leads up our mountain of awareness, which is also the multi dimensional maze. When we stumble into a chasm, we must find our way out of the chasm again. It is infinitely easier to place our faith in God, and to allow our faith to effectively form a bridge over the chasm, than it is to stumble into the chasm, and crawl out again. Each time that we put our faith in God, we leap a chasm.
In reality, there are not as many chasms on the mountain of awareness as we suspect. Each time that we take the circular path, we encounter the same chasm. Sometimes we will cross the chasm, and sometimes we will balk at crossing the chasm, and then we will be required to cross the chasm at another place.
Our journey winds its way around the mountain of awareness, continually crossing the chasm which runs up the side of the mountain of awareness. There are a myriad of methods that we can use to get from one side of the chasm, to the other side of the chasm.
Each time that we reach the chasm, we have to find a way to cross the chasm. We can stumble into the chasm and climb out, we can build a bridge across the chasm, or we can be carried across the chasm by God. The easiest crossing that we can experience, is to allow God to carry us across the chasm.
The period between leaping from one side of the chasm and landing on the other side is a period of adjustment. We cannot leap across the chasm without acceptance, and faith in God, so having leapt across the chasm we can have no fear, except for the echoes of fear bouncing around in the chasm.
It is almost impossible, and certainly extremely difficult, to undertake a journey to awareness without faith in God. Without faith in God, we are required to travel through each of the chasms, instead of travelling across each chasm. Travelling through a chasm can be a very difficult process to survive.
We repeat events time and time again, until we understand that what we are experiencing is not 'who we are'. Each time that we repeat experiences, we are travelling in circle. The further away from awareness that we are, the larger the circles that we experience.
At the bottom of the mountain of awareness, circles can take a lifetime to complete, only to be repeated lifetime after lifetime. Our path may wind its way around the bottom of the mountain of awareness over and over again, without any way to commence the climb up the mountain of awareness, presenting itself to us.
As we to climb the mountain of awareness, our path winds around and around the mountain of awareness. The closer that we are to the top of the mountain of awareness, the shorter our path around the mountain of awareness, because our circles are effectively smaller or shorter in duration.
What we see as a linear journey up a mountain of awareness is in reality a circular journey. Each time that we complete the circle, we begin the circle again. Each time that we believe that we have finished our journey, we have not. We rest, and then we recommence our journey to move up another level of awareness. This process will continue throughout our lifetime, and our physical existence.
We continue to circle the mountain of awareness, but the circle is smaller each time that we move up the mountain of awareness. We need to understand that we have not failed in our journey, because we continue to experience the circular nature of existence as we climb the mountain of awareness.
Our circular path is a reflection of reality, because our existence is circular. As we follow our path, we complete circle after circle. Each circle is a little higher on the mountain of awareness which our path leads up, and as we complete each circle, we are a little closer to the summit of the mountain of our awareness.
The way to climb further up the mountain of awareness, is to look deeper within ourselves. It is through depth that we ascend.
We should not allow ourselves to slip back down the mountain of awareness, or allow others to pull us off the mountain of awareness.
The closer we are to the top of the mountain of awareness, the steeper our path will become, but each step is more rewarding.
There is a direct route to the front door of heaven, but we usually choose the winding path around the mountain of awareness which effectively leads to the back door of heaven. The path around the mountain of awareness does cross the direct route to the front door of heaven, on many occasions. We can choose the direct route to heaven, on any occasion when our path around the mountain of awareness crosses the direct route to heaven.
Each time that our path crosses the direct route to the front door of heaven, we experience a closeness to 'heaven on earth'. As our path winds its way up the mountain of awareness, and we become closer to the summit of mountain of awareness, we reach the point where our path crosses the direct route to the front door of heaven more frequently, because the circle around the mountain of awareness is shorter.
The mountain of awareness is our own awareness. The volume of our awareness dictates the steepness of our mountain of awareness. The path that we follow is not the path to our awareness, the path that we follow is path of our awareness.
The mountain of awareness is created by our knowledge of reality, and the experiences of our existence. However, our circle of awareness is not complete, which is why we remain on the earth plane. The gap which prevents us from completing our circle of awareness, is the same gap in our awareness that creates the chasm which runs up the side of our mountain of awareness.
The gap in our circle of awareness, is the chasm which runs through the side of our mountain of awareness. Our mountain of awareness is the awareness that we have accumulated throughout our existence, our journey is to effectively release our awareness. The chasm is the gap in our awareness.
Each time that we reach the gap in our awareness on the circle of our journey, we need to review all that has gone before, and adjust our awareness level to fill some of the gap in our awareness.
The only way that we are able to continue our journey up the mountain of our awareness, is to complete each circular path. We cannot complete our circular path without closing, or crossing the gap in our awareness.
It is through making our way through each level of the multi dimensional maze that is our awareness, that we are able to climb the mountain that is the same awareness. Every wrong doorway in the multi dimensional maze, is also a wrong turn or a dead end on the path up the mountain of awareness. The path that must be followed up the mountain of awareness is the same path that leads through the multi dimensional maze. The mountain of awareness is a multi dimensional maze, and the multi dimensional maze is also a mountain of awareness.
The mountain that is our awareness is also our learning curve. When we reach the summit of our mountain of awareness, we also reach the point on our learning curve where our learning curve begins to plateau and rise gradually.
As we climb the mountain of awareness we become aware of much. Upon reaching the summit of the mountain of awareness, our path reaches a plateau, but continues to rise slightly. Our path continues to rise and to wind around the mountain of awareness.
Our spiritual learning curve is no different in principle to any learning curve. When we reach the summit of our learning curve, we believe that we know all, but as we apply what we have learned, we add experience to what we have learned, and we realise that we have much to learn. Travelling to the summit of our spiritual learning curve is a relatively quick process, but after our spiritual learning curve plateaus, it takes much time to add experience to our knowledge as we apply our awareness.
After we have travelled a long and difficult path up the mountain of awareness, in the process, falling into the chasm and struggling back out again, making many wrong turns, and reaching many dead ends, we must eventually reach the summit of the mountain of awareness.
After we have reached the summit of the mountain of awareness, we have to travel a path which plateaus, and winds around the mountain top as we gradually make our way to the centre of the plateau. At the centre of the plateau is heaven on earth. We are able to see this oasis of peace on a number of occasions as we travel around the mountain top, but the only way to reach heaven on earth is to continue to follow our path.
Heaven on earth exists at the top of the multi dimensional maze, and at the top of the mountain of awareness. Heaven on earth is the peace and tranquillity between the rapids and the ocean. Heaven on earth is the link between the earth plane and the higher plane. Heaven on earth is a different environment for each soul. Heaven on earth allows us to experience heaven or the higher plane.
Whenever we are given a message on the earth plane, we have effectively stopped to smell a flower along the pathway which leads up the mountain of awareness. The flowers, the beauty which is the spirit plane manifestation of heaven, are also the truth of the existence which is all around us.
After we have travelled a difficult and long journey up our mountain of awareness, we reach and enter the gates of heaven. We continue to obtain awareness as we explore the grounds of heaven.
However, if we have entered heaven by the back gate, we have not filled the gap in our awareness. After wandering around the garden of heaven for a time, we will eventually stumble into the chasm which takes us out of heaven, until we fill the gap in our awareness.
As we close our gap in our awareness, we move further up the mountain of awareness, this has the effect of making the gap in awareness narrower, and the sides in the gap in our awareness become steeper. The higher we move up our mountain of awareness the deeper that the chasm which is created by the gap in our awareness becomes.
At this point the chasm is narrow, but the chasm is also very deep. Without closing the gap in our awareness we step not into the promised land of heaven on earth, but into a void, and we fall off the mountain of awareness. The ground falls away under our feet, and we fall into the chasm.
When we begin our journey, the gap in our awareness is broad, more like a gentle valley than a chasm, as we climb the mountain of awareness the valley narrows into a chasm and then into a fissure. If we stumble into the gap in our awareness at the bottom of our mountain it is a relatively easy process to climb out again. However, if we stumble into the gap in our awareness at the top of our mountain of awareness, we fall far, and we land hard.
As the gap in our awareness narrows, the gap in our awareness becomes easier to leap, but if we loose our Trust In God, we cannot reach the other side of the gap in our awareness which is when we fall. The higher we are on our mountain of awareness, the further we fall and the harder we land.
The closer that we are to being 'who we are', the finer the distinction between 'who we are' and 'who we are not' becomes. The further away we are from being 'who we are', the line between 'who we are' and 'who we are not' widens and becomes increasingly fuzzy. The line between 'who we are' and 'who we are not', reflects the mountain of awareness. Broad at the bottom, and ever narrower as we move closer to the summit.
At the beginning of our journey, at the base of the mountain of awareness, the gaps in our awareness, the path which we travel, and our separation from God is broad. As our journey progresses, the mountain of awareness, the gaps in our awareness, our path, and our separation from God had narrows. As we near the end of our journey up the mountain of awareness, the gaps in our awareness, our path and our separation from God becomes a thin line. In time, the thin line will cease to exist.
At the end of our journey, near the summit of the mountain of awareness, the chasm is very deep, and it can take us a long time to climb out of the chasm, despite our awareness. If we do not climb out of the chasm, we wander into the wilderness, where we remain until we are ready and have rested sufficiently to be shown the way out of the wilderness and the chasm.
The wilderness is an existence without Trust In God. Regardless of whether we take the easy road and allow God to carry us across the chasm, take the middle road and find a bridge or build a bridge across the chasm, or take the hard road and fall into and climb out of the chasm, we need Trust In God to complete our final crossing of the chasm.
The mountain of awareness does not have a hierarchical path. Effectively our mountain of awareness is two mountains of awareness reflecting upon each other which transforms our mountain and our circle into a sphere. A sphere whose substance is created by knowledge and experiences, and filled with awareness.
Fear is the key to the dark path. Want is the key to the middle path. Allow is the key to the light path.
The key to awareness and the key to 'heaven on earth' is the same key. Allow. Allow is also the key to close the gap which is the chasm that runs up the side of the mountain of awareness. Allow will carry us across the chasm unaided.
'Want' is the key to the middle path. Using the want key enables us to build a bridge, of one form or another, across the chasm.
The 'fear' key, is the most difficult path. After stumbling into the chasm, we need to find our way out of the chasm to reach a new level of awareness.
When we place ourselves in God's hands, we follow the want path. The need for faith is a product of want. When we truly allow, we do not need faith.
We do not have to allow, we can have fear and increase our awareness, but fear continually leads us to the chasm which represents our lack of awareness. The dark path of fear does lead us to increase our awareness, but the dark path of fear path also leads us into the chasm which we need to climb out of to gain the awareness. The dark path of fear is by far the most difficult path.
One of the difficulties of the lower path is that we predominantly exist within the darkness of the chasm. Whilst in the chasm, we often stumble around in circles, looking for a way out.
There is no guarantee that we will exit the chasm on the other side. We may well exit the chasm on the same side which we fell in the chasm, and in so doing not increase our awareness, but be faced with the prospect of stumbling into the chasm again.
This is a pattern which many souls follow, constantly stumbling into and climbing out of the same chasm without increasing awareness.
The middle path, the want path, also allows us to increase our awareness but we need to find a way across the chasm. We may build a bridge across the chasm, or me may allow our faith to carry us across the chasm. However each time that we cross the chasm, we face the prospect of stumbling into the chasm.
The path of want is purgatory. A path with enough hope to keep us out of hell, but a path of wanting which prevents us from allowing ourselves to exist within 'heaven on earth'.
The light path, the allow path, bypasses not only the chasm, but also all other barriers and obstacles in our way. The allow path is the direct path to the next level of awareness and to 'heaven on earth'.
We cannot remain in heaven, and create 'heaven on earth' unless we employ the allow key. We can fall from heaven by employing the fear key, and stumble into the darkness of the chasm.
Regardless of the means that we use to reach heaven, the only way that we can take the final step across the threshold and exist within 'heaven on earth' is to allow ourselves to do so. Allow is the key to 'heaven on earth'.
However, if we are not ready to enter 'heaven on earth', we can only wait until we are ready to allow ourselves to enter 'heaven on earth'. There is only one way to be ready to enter 'heaven on earth', and that is to allow ourselves to be ready to enter 'heaven on earth'.
There are no rules, we do not have to allow. Each path will eventually lead us to where we want to go. Our choice of path dictates the degree of difficulty that we will face, and we choose our degree of difficulty when we choose our path.
The 'final' barrier to the chasm which runs up the length of the mountain of awareness is our Trust In God, regardless of whether we label our Trust In God as hope, belief, faith or something else. The only way to pass through the barrier is to maintain our Trust In God. Our battle to pass through the 'final' barrier is a test of our Trust In God, or a test of faith or whatever other label we chose to apply.
Our Trust In God needs to be tested, not to make us worthy, and not to please God, but to ensure and allow us to accept that our Trust In God is sound and is built on a strong foundation. When we reach the top of the mountain of awareness and pass through the 'final' barrier, we need our Trust In God to support us. Without Trust In God we have no support and we will fall into the chasm.
When we reach the 'final' barrier, we must release all the we hold other than our Trust In God, because our Trust In God is the only thing that we can carry through the 'final' barrier if we are to successfully pass through the 'final' barrier and enter front the gates of heaven. It is only by Entering The Gates Of Heaven through the front door that we can create 'heaven on earth'. If we enter the gates of heaven through the back door, we can explore heaven, but we must still find our way to the front gates of heaven.
